Cost planning for U.S. patients

Compare fertility costs without hidden assumptions

A lower base price does not always mean a lower total. We help patients compare the same treatment scope, identify exclusions, and account for travel before deciding.

Frequently asked questions

Understanding the real cost

What does one IVF cycle cost in the United States?

Published U.S. clinic estimates vary. CCRM lists approximately $12,660 to $30,780 depending on medication, testing, and procedures, while other clinics publish separate cycle, medication, and transfer fees.

How should I compare a Colombian estimate with a U.S. estimate?

Use the same scope: consultation, testing, monitoring, medication, anesthesia, retrieval, fertilization, ICSI, embryo testing, transfer, freezing, storage, and follow-up. Then add travel and lodging.

Will my U.S. insurance cover treatment in Colombia?

Coverage varies widely. Ask your insurer or fertility-benefit administrator directly about overseas services, medication, testing completed in the U.S., reimbursement, and required authorization.

Does exchange rate movement affect my price?

Yes. If provider costs are denominated in Colombian pesos, the U.S. dollar equivalent can change. A quote should state its currency, validity period, and payment terms.

Are the savings percentages guaranteed?

No. Any comparison is illustrative. Your actual difference depends on the treatment plan, inclusions, insurance, medication, additional cycles, exchange rate, and travel.
